dysPUNKtional is a 2.5D Action Shooter. Players take on the role as a hero fighting his way out of a supreme gang with brutes and minions in a punk and weird environment

The player will eventually fight the main boss, Jon Sena, who is a samurai where is main mission is just to kill the player.

I have came out with the level design for the game. Designing a 2.5D game is challenging as there were many consideration to take in such as the detection range or the enemies and also the camera that is following the player. Not only that, the game only have sound detection which made it the level bigger and harder to make the level interesting.

The vision of the enemy is also another problem. Safe spots were carefully considered and place so the players have time to rest before continuing on the level.
​
Apart from the level design, I have also came out with the art assets for the whole game. As a lead artist, I wanted my characters to move in a side bobbing manner to enforce the weirdness of the environment. The AI were also dressed weirdly to enforce the theme of the game.
